wierd shed?

kamakiri Jul 05, 2005 12:54 AM

hello all. i have a 14 inch red tail boa and i believe its in shed due to the eyecaps being cloudy. however, the snake is developing chalky sections that feel dry. i am misting the cage and am curious about what this is or if its normal. this would be the first shed it will have in my ownership. thanks in advance.

JQ-
my only advice is that you could give your new snake a little bath for about 15 minutes in luke warm water and then just wait it out and see how it turns out. Most klikely it will be a perfect shed in about a week... Just wait and watch~!~

Good luck, keep us updated if you need more help.

Sincerely,
Rose Hipskind
