well a black rat is not typical to stress out easily, however make sure to give him a good 5 days or so after the move before handling and/or feeding

My limited experiance with black rats, only have one a albino, a friend has a 7fter. that I care for when he goes out of town. Never noticed any signs of sterss, but both are very cage aggressive, but once out usually calm down. Really like my albino black rat.

...but I haven't personally known any aggressive captive bred snakes that had been handled regularly. I agree that you should give him about 5 days to calm down. After that, the one significant difference with Corns is that Obsoleta love to climb. All of mine have climbing branches and they all like to use them.
