Rufus' setup is 9 x3 x 3 and I have a 250 watt heat lamp(Home Depot $9) on a rheostat shining on cement squares (3 feet square area). That light is on 24/7 and set at about 110 degrees in the center of the light(temp gun). My flourescent fixtures are on a timer(Intermatic ss7c) all wired like your house to one plug in. A note about timers, I tried other timers and the ss7c will keep good time and work 2 double flourescent fixtures. I set it up to have a couple more spot lamps but found it wasn't necessary.
