am kind of new to res but have raised 3 from hatchlings now about 1 year. they each had their own personalities at the start. one was very shy and panicky. He didn't grow much because he was a too afraid to eat and would only eat in tank. also, picky eater and would only eat repto treats, the bright red pellets. i think the personalities are just different. Wonder if another hatchling would help your shy one?
