Wow what a difference. I can't wait to see my Hypo Brooksi after it's first shed, it's gonna be beautiful. Congrats on that beautiful animal!

Here's one of my hypo-floridana

Kinglvr Jul 06, 2005 06:15 PM

Wow Jetzen, that Hypo Floridana is GORGEOUS! Mine isn't that bright of a yellow at all. In fact, looking at that snake makes me think mine is a totally different sub-species!

I'd have to say the 2nd one. It's eyes are much more appealing to me. Are they related?

JETZEN Jul 10, 2005 08:11 AM

I thought they were related but i did a follow-up and found out they arn't
here's two more

this one i don't have anymore

Kinglvr Jul 08, 2005 08:50 PM

I noticed in that 2nd pic especially, that hypo brooksi has a very light pink colored mouth. My hypo brooksi has more of a redder mouth (almost a very hot pink), but it is uniformly the same color, so I don't think there's anything to worry about. That's just strange how much that snake (both really) differ from mine.

Beautiful Florida King Jetzen. Bright yellow mixed with a nice color of brown. I like that one. Also one of my favorites is your Prairie King. That's my next King on my list when I find one. There's just something about a nice fat calligaster that I love.
