pic of my snake (and help identifying it)

gary1 Jul 15, 2003 08:01 AM

this is my 2 year old corn. ive only had him about 2 months so up til now most of my research has just been on care and requirments he has. the person who owned him left the country ,it provided me the perfect and long awaited excuse to get a snake (my g/f was unsure of them but this guy is warming on her) but also meant i couldnt ask many of the questions i had.
more recently the different variation of colours and patterns has started to interest me. i was just wondering if anyone could tell me the exact name of this colour variation, i know he is amel but thats about as much as i can find out on my own lol

Hmm, looks like a Amel. But the colors are more Creamsicle like. Still the head does not appear like a Creamsicle. I think it is Creamsicle outcrossed with Amel.

Some people have crossed sunglow corns with creamsicles and called the resulting animals "Harvest corns". That's what came to mind first when I looked at your picture. I don't know for sure of course but that's my guess. It's a very nice looking snake that's for sure!
