this female laid 7 good eggs on 4-20 and was 2100 grams then and has only eaten 12 rats up to now and she is back up to 2200 grams and looks and feels like she may be gravid again! she has not been back with a male so do they ever double clutch or is she just holding her weight? either one would be great for me. thanks.

99.99% chance she is not gravid. It is normal for them to put back on the weight fast, it would be unheard of for her to ovulate again in the same year. She'll probably go again for you next year though.

I have some females that can get right back up to there pre-lay weight in less than 6 months.
