...or something like that gr8t ole tune...

I was working thru a coupla albums of slides from years ago...& I spotted a pair of slides... that i've been claiming to own for many moons...now. The first (to my knowledge...) 2 claim to have photo--vouchers of the white specs [& I mean white]....in the nearly white granite of the Gila Mtns., Yuma Cty AZ.

These I conclude are the creme dela creme of specs....now the only ? is this....I was shooting ExtaChrome...which is a blue spectrum film...& it was in early AM....& the light was dim...accenting the blue....so it really worth me bothering to scan & post em? Can anyone really care what white specs... circa 1987 look like...

...see i knew i was screwn up...not talkn 1st w/ the king o specs...BPO...[all rise].

Now w/ Dr. Spec payn attention, I couldnt possibly post my dog-turd slides...w/o him hopefully pulling out the blue (& my blues...) from my sorry shots....but again...as far as I know...these are some of the early vouchers for the Gilas...

Intel indicates Dr spec has his typical super-quality shots of these same snakes...

Neo-spec-ophiles need to be aware tho, special rules re: access/border patrol/miltary ops, y narcos all apply harshly in this super-harsh land...dont stray to far off I-8 w/o a seasoned sidekick. The N gilas (n of I-8) have the same snakes w a lot less hassles....

Perhaps in the interim...Dr spec will treat us to a proper view of a typical....cascabel blanco...

Meanwhile I await his prognosis for my jpg...

Brendan that pink is awesome & I have a decent NE range limit jpg...Ill get it posted by the weekend...

Off up the Estrellas tommorow @ o-dark-30...bighorn stuff..but might see a ???

It's just too bad that the file was so small to start with. I did what I could to revive it but even PS and DIP had a tough go of it.

At least we can tell it's a rattlesnake.
