Yes I have one. They are similar in husbandry to red eyes. They seem to do better in naturalistic enclosures, probably because most of them are wild caught. I keep mine in a 20 gallon xtra high tank with great stuff foam with cocobedding on it for the background, a false bottom water area, and several small bromeliads, a creeping fig, and some ferns. I try to keep the temperature at around 74-76 degrees and 70% humidity. I feed her gutloaded 1/4 inch or smaller crickets everyday. They seem to be fairly hardy after having difficulty acclimating, so be sure to have all your specs ready before you get it. Good Luck.

how big do they get?could i keep it in a 10 gallon?what types of ferns?(sorry for all the questions)do you think you could potst a pic or your set-up?

I think they max out around 1-1 and a half inches. I suppose they could live in a vertically oriented ten gallon for a while, but I am an advocate of housing treefrogs in as large an enclosure as possible. I think the type of fern I have is spelligrina (sp). I got it at home depot. I also have live moss on top of a soil mix for a substrate. Look into dart frog setups for ideas on how to set up your tank. That's what I did. I highly recommend getting some small bromeliads, too. Ask around in the dart frog forum for particular species. I got mine from peaceofthetropics.com. Really nice. My frog really seems to like the broms, he hides out in their funnels during the day. It makes for great photo ops. I can post pics as soon as I can get my hands on a digicam. Feel free to ask any other questions.

how do you clean there tank?and woiuld it be safe(i know many people are against this but...)to mix it with a RETF?or would the red eye get bigger and eat it?maybe if i got a 20 gallon tall could i mix them?

I just spot clean and do regular water changes. No it would not be safe to house them with red eyes. Alothough, they likely encounter each other in the wild, these encounters probably end with the red eye eating the clown. A really large clown is only about 2 inches long.

If you have the 10 gallon screen top,etc and you can get the 20 gallon extra tall its same dimensions but higher big difference in height esp for treefrogs its great tank.
I got one few weeks ago for some squirrel treefrogs. Those chain type pet stores like petsmart, petland etc usually have them in stock for less than $20.
Your treefrogs will prefer it and you would like .
