*** The Crystal Ball *** Good Photos (dial-up warning)

Python Dreams Jul 06, 2005 04:18 AM

I finally figured out how to take some decent pics of the little girl. Here are a few that turned out pretty well. She also took her first fuzzy mouse tonight and probably looked better than she has yet. It will be amazing to watch her grow. I also don't want to go overboard on posting the pics here, but I just do not want to leave it with the photos from the other day that don't represent her as well.
Let me know what you think...

Thanks!!!
That clutch had the Crystal, Mojave, Special Mojave, and normal. They were all females except the normal.

MY EYES, MY EYES!!! OK that's it guys, I've just been struck blind. Anybody got a keyboard with braile keys on it?

On a calmer note..................That thing is gorgeous, the eyes are killer. I'm sellin' the house as we speak. Where do I send the money?

Congrats you guys on all you've been blessed with this season.

That all depends Sneaky....
Now if you live in a small shack in some swamp in Louisiana, I don't know if we will be able to work it out!
But... If you sold your home in Orange County, California, we might be able to work out a deal... You might even have some change!! hahahhaha j/k

Actually, after seeing that fourth shot...i'll bet mom looks like she is on fire..

...and what is this thing you speak of..."too many pics" ?
No such thing as such with that animal.

Thank you for sharing.

I actually have never noticed red pupils on the Crystal Ball. Now I'm as ignorant as hell to good photography, but I have been told the red in the eyes is the flash bouncing off a certain part of the eye. I've also been told that if you have the flash further away from the lens that will help solve this problem, such as a speedflash. Maybe someone can back this up. I posted the pic because I though that looked kinda cool!

sorry I am a bit behind, what are her genetic origins?

Python Dreams Jul 06, 2005 11:10 AM

She is a Mojave X "Special Normal"... Until I can figure out her genetics I'm keeping her on the down low.

Very nice!!!

For some reason, looking at that snake makes me think "Albino Mojave"

It's killin' me to find out what made it!!!

Thanks Casey!!!
I want to thank you for getting me out a hatcling rack within 3 days of order (including the weekend) due to bad planning on my part. The Crystal is digesting her first meal inside a Natures Spirit Snake Shack right now!!!
Thanks again,
Tom

Thanks for the responses everyone!!! I will fatten her up a bit and then do another photo shoot. I really cannot explain how cool she looked yesterday, leaps and bounds better than I have seen. I'm hoping the colors keep coming through... Thanks again everyone!
