Question for those of you that use perlite as incubation medium.....

At what ratio by weight do you mix it with water? Thanks Tom

I never measured watererlite ration...

The cool thing about Perlite is if you use a clear container, you can dampen the entire medium, then look in the side and actually see the water level. I always kept the water level at least 1/2 inch from the top of the Perlite. The Perlite pieces are so solid, it enables you to see the water level in the container. It is very cool stuff. I found my eggs always turned a bit off color though with Perlite for some reason. Almost a cream color...a striking contrast from the stark white Perlite.
