Randy,If only that yellow down by the tail was a snake instead of birthcrap,I would be in business! All in all,a really nice litter of 14 with no slugs. They look pretty normal to me(although really nice),but we will wait a shed or so and see.

Looks like a nice robust litter with some more coming at this point. When you first posted her pic last year I thought she was really cool, but now I like her even more. She's kind of a "gets better every time I see her" snake.

All normals? I share Randy's first impression, seeing some yellow ones in that bunch. BTW, I think that -ish boa is super neat.

I hope to be able to post some fairly nice pics of some TF'04's within the next few months. I should be receiving a nicer digi camera shortly. I am bit worried that my possibly gravid female will drop a litter while I don't have an adequate camera, it hasn't quite been the same since the "incident". It sure is fun to see people turn the pic in different directions, trying to figure out what is supposed to be the top and try to count globs of mess with little heads popping out.

Tim,
...Congratulations on the healthy litter. How have earlier babies from that yellow momma turned out?

First time. These appear to be really nice babies. Will get some pics on here after they shed.I have had a ton of yellow babies of all kinds so far this year.Only problem is that they have been round and really hard. They will stop on a hard green if hit nice and high with a wedge.LOL.

My camera work is so poor.I snapped a pic of some new Dumerils babies. Took me forever to get the snakes in the freaking frame. When I finally got it from the camera to the ad,the one I chose was so blurry that it would make you pass out from vertigo if you stared at it for more than 10 seconds.I finally wrote that it looked better than this in person unless you had advanced glaucoma. So far no one has bought it! Good Lord I spent nearly 75 bucks for that camera about 5 years ago.I can't get my pics to look anything like CE's.

Tim,
...I have had no slugs yet this year. I also have not had any of my snakes lay yet this year. Could there be a connection? I figured you would be the person most able to answer my question.
Jeff

Jeff,
I think that there is a definite correlation between laying and slugs.I have decided to invent a cloacal plug(CP I will call it,I could call it a pc,short acronym for for pinching cork but people would think I was a computer salesman)and plug up each and every gravid snake.I will then invent a cloacal plug light(CPL)(I would call it a CPA for cloacal plug asslight, but people might want me to do their taxes)and intermittently check(late at night as i have insomnia) to see if what is about to come out is snake-like or more like a yellow golf ball.If like a golfball,I will not let it escape and it will eventually be eaten by the live babies, most of which will be born at nearly breeder size, for we all know that Rainbows eat slugs. No one else is doing that.I hope I helped.

Tim,
....You really think people are gonna think you are computer salesman? With this current CP project I would be worried that people would just think you were REAL KINKY. Please, never ever change the way you think or the way you post on these forums. Most of the rest of us take these forums way too seriously. The folks over on the Boa forum seem to have risen to a new level and are now having people post to explain to each other how long a meter is.

Tim,
...How do I ask the nice lady at the store for a lighted CP?
