firesrebel Jul 06, 2005 07:19 PM

one of my young beardies (not sure how old, got them june 22nd as babies) had its meal today as usual, then started turning a mottled black color on its belly and underside of its head. seems a bit sluggish too, any idea what this might be? thanks for any help you can give me.

It's hard for us to tell what is wrong without specifics (tank size, temps, diet, cagemates?)
My first guess would be that he is just turning dark to absorb more heat. Mine will do it all the time outside or after a meal.

give more info, such as temps, etc.

it could be that he is just trying to absorb more heat to digest, or it could be a sign of stress...although Smaug has done this, it is alot more noticable when Little One does it since he is a normal...
