i am getting my basilisk a new terrarium next week and im wondering what the best way to introduce him to a new environment would be? the last time i put him in a new tank he didnt eat normally or act normally for a long time. im planning on keeping his furniture the same, so its not too unfamiliar, but because its bigger there will be lots of new branches and a bigger water recepticle. does anyone have any advice on how to make his move less stressful?

If you have the room, set it up next to his current cage, or put his current cage in the new one, if there is that much of a size difference. let him get used to looking out at it for a week and then allow him to leave his own cage for the new one on his own. if possible.

thanks!! thats a great idea, dont know why i didnt think of it!! i could just set his cage in front of the new one and make a quick purpose tunnel into the front doors of his new one.
