My temp regulation issues...

benzman1 Jul 06, 2005 08:05 PM

If you read my post from Monday I am dealing with temp issues to teh point of getting my Gabe the Gecko sick. I had him in a 10 gal tank with only a UTH pad as a heat source. Since we moved 3 months ago and her tank is now upstairs where the ambient temp is 78 F I thought I did not need another heat source. Well monday night I went out and purchased bulbs of three different watts. Well the temps are now to high with a hot side of 95 - 97 degrees and a cool side of 82 - 85 f.
Well to solve some of this issue I purchased a 20 gal long and now the temps are 84-87 f on the high side and 74-78 F on the low side.

With all that said here is a picture of her new home...yes I know my spelling sucks.

I dunno if your asking if the temps that you have now are good enough or not but in any case yes they are perfect. Nice setup too.
