amra questions from before

reptile30 Jul 07, 2005 09:33 AM

i got it down to three choices, the Coolpix 7900,Coolpix 4800, and the Coolpix 4600, this may be a dumb question but when it says from like 2.8 mm - 50. mm is that better for zooming in than 7.8 mm -34.8mm or more mega pixles better, this may sound dumb bc i have a nice camra that i got for xmas the minolta maxxum 70 with a af zoom lens 75-300.

back to the camras, so if you big camra people could help me and give me some pointers to look for like , look for the ones with the highest mega pixle and zoom mm thing that would be great

thanks for your help
im more into print but my scanner is broke sooi i cant show anybody

i think i made up mjy mind afetr reading like 6 reviews that were 4 pages long on them and i saw that the 4800 can get as close as 1cm or .4 inches away from something and stilll focus in micro mode. so i guess the higher the zoom the better zoom it has.

true or not

thanks for your help
