Can anybody tell me how to tell between an Eastern and a Southern. I have seen pics, but they just look so similiar. Is their a visual way to tell that is simple?

Generally a southern will be much smaller and if you look on their belly the under side of their tail in easterns is usually lighter than the rest of their belly scales. In Southerns the bottom of the tail is generally around the same color or slightly darker than the rest of the body. This is true most of the time but i have seen a few exceptions.
