Pics of my BurmxRock

r3ptile Jul 07, 2005 03:05 PM

Just wanted to share these pics I just took today. He is only 20 months old and already just shy of 11 feet. I see alot of pics of burms on here that are really wide in proportion to their length. It seems everything Im feeding him is going towards length..I cant imagine how big he is going to get in the next few years when he starts widening out. I have a feeling Im going to be dealing with an 18 foot monster (which of course I already planned for the day I got him). One of the pics here is him less than 2 years ago (11/03) the day I got him.

Wow, now that's a beautiful snake! If you don't mind me asking, where did you get her?

That is just a beautiful snake. How is her temperament?

Her temperment is ok. When opening the cage she often shoots for the opening but once being handled, her agression goes away. She is a bit restless and hard to keep still sometimes when handling but overall she is fine. I attribute this to being half Rock python. I've had interaction with her since she was hatched so thats how I'm able to handle her with no problems.
