in almost every state their is some form or type of naturla disaster. ranging from hurricanes to earthquakes or blizzards, you shouel know how to keep your chameleon safe and sound from these naturalvet dangerous events

HURRICANES: in case of a hurricane if you live in a south easter state you should head to the hurricane watches and warnings. if under a hurricane watch you should prepare your chameleons food supply, buy at least 1-2 weeks worth of food for the chmeleon, also try to dedicate at least 1 gallon for your chameleon. during a warning most stores close and you will not be able to buy your chameleons food. find a warm spot in your house to keep the cage. try to avoid window or door areas. most likely you will lose power to ur house so try heat ur chameleon after the storm passes. also try and place the chameleon's cage on the floor so incase of shaking or flying debris it wont get hit or wont fall. this event willour chameleon for they can feel when bad weather is approaching so dont our chamelon turns to a dark color before during and after the hurricane.

EARTH QUAKES: yes we all know they are bad and actually happen frequently, most of them are not bad and do minimal shaking and minimal damage, but sometimes the shaking can get really bad and czuse alot of damage. there are a couple of things to quake proof your chameleons cage to keep it from falling injuring your beloved pet chamleon. 1 basic type of quake proofing is keeping the cage low to the ground, another would be placing screws in the wall through the mesh this causes the cage to be attached to the wall oreventing it from falling, also try to place it in a sturdy part of the house
