just got a new tank

brookssayz Jul 07, 2005 03:54 PM

i just got a good deal on an 8Ft tank the person i got it from had a 10-15ft burm in it when i got it off him. Right now my burm is only 3ft im wondering if i should hold off on the big tank till its maybe 5ft or so just wondering if i should put him in now or should i wait. I think the large tank might stress the small snake.

i would definatly wait, for example my baby(when he was a baby)stayed in a 33gal until i thought he needed something bigger then moved him to a 75gal, no he is my custom enclosure i built for him. my 4 foot baby retic was in a 75gal and stopped eating for 3 weeks, moved her to a 33gal, now she eats no problem, wait a few months she will be in the 75gal soon.
