Hova bator issues

i just bought a basic hovabator from lll it heats everything but it wont seem to go below 100 degrees i try to turn the knob the way it says to decrease the temp but even if i barely turn it on it stays to hot to incubate leo eggs any help or tips is appreciated thanks

Buy a thermostat and hook the bator up to it....

Hovas use a very unreliable waffer style thermostat.... You need to get a real thermostat and upgrade the hova....

You might not have gotten the right HovaBator. They sell one specifically for reptiles, the 1602-R. I have that model, and it stays right at 84* all the time. You may have one for chickens and not geckos.

Since your incubating I would suggect going with a proportional thermostat. The herpstat is my fav.. But then again a analog themrostat is going to be more accurate then the wafer you have now...
