Timor Monitor

Mriswith Jul 07, 2005 06:45 PM

I have recently gotten a timor monitor( purchaed him/her at a show cause I loved his/her looks)and then realized I do not know how large they get. I know they are a smaller monitor (smaller then the nile I had ) but I do not know what size he/she could attain if I do my job correctly and he/she grows to a nice healthy adult.

My Timors range from 2-3 ft long, and at least half of that is tail. They normally aren't handleable, always ready to bolt like lightning, but they have fascinating personalities and are a joy to have.

I had read that about timors in general and that is why I hd never really thougth about gettign one but the little (maybe 10 inches nose to tail) one I have walked right out on my hand and looked at me that is one of the reasons I got him/her. So far the personality of this little one os great we shall see what happens as he/she grows.
