Twenty five black bloods it is!

viandy Jul 07, 2005 07:21 PM

Yes, there are 25, all look good -- no kinked spines or anything like that I see. A great variety of "looks", no really jet black ones ( so I'm still jealous of Angel's beauties!!), but some nice dark ones, some that will be orange head, and looks like some nice chrome heads too.
I've got a few other pics in the photo gallery, same user name if you want to check them out.

Very nice Andy, Angels may be a bit darker but you have more of them I'm running to the photo section as we speak.

WOW WOW WOW WOW..........WOW!!!

Very neat! I've got 8 of 21 Borneo's pipped. I'll make my TINY cuts tomorrow after work for any eggs not open yet. If you had 25 hatch in 24 hours you better write down the exact incubation! I'd say that was near perfect.

Congrats on a very nice sized clutch, and great looking babies, I love the ones with the black/chrome looking heads.

Hey Andy-
I can't pass up an opportunity to stick in a pic of the female of the pair I got from you last year. Can't tell you how much I adore these snakes! This is a pic I took a few days ago, fresh out of shed and hungry! -Lindsey

viandy Jul 08, 2005 10:28 AM

Oh, Lindsey, uhm, I guess there was a misunderstanding. I was just lending you that snake, I remembered when I saw the pic of her. I would never be able to sell a snake that pretty -- I've have to keep it for myself!!
Alright, I'm just kidding. I doubt you were worried at all, if I tried to get it back I'd have to pry it from your cold, dead fingers. You've definitely kept her well -- she looks incredible!!
Thanks for putting up the pic!

how old is that snake?

LCH Jul 12, 2005 06:09 AM

Hi,

The snakes are about one year old now...the first picture is recent, the other ones were taken when the snakes were 7 months or so.

Great job.Must be great to see all 25 hatch out, now to get them to eat.So are both parents orange heads? Are their going to be some hold backs you're going to keep for yourself. Thanks for sharing.

The mother came from the Barkers, the sire from the Baldagos. Here's a pic of her on the eggs, May 09.05.

Great looking blacks.I was going to breed an orange head to a black and decided not to and sold my female to Angel, or googoo151.Should have never have done that, your clutch looks good, and Angel proved her out this year.Oh well thanks for getting back to me on the parents.

googo151 Jul 10, 2005 01:05 AM

Hey,
What an awesome job and mom she is. And of you, what can I say, you're the man for hatching out that many number of Blacks. Wow! and yowza! Good luck with the feeding trials in the next week or so.
