I have a question about a Barking Tree Frog that I purchased. I recently built a vertical vivarium for two barking tree frogs. My first mistake was buying them from Petco instead of my usual supplier, but I feel bad for them in that place, and its a lot closer. Anyway, one of them is doing well and is very healthy and active at night. The other is more sluggish, and seems to stay in one spot day and night. It has developed some sort of deterioration on its nostrils; it looks as if the skin has been eaten away in an exact circle around each nostril. It is now just raw skin, maybe a millimeter or two for each nostril. I am guessing this is some sort of bacterial or fungal reaction to a decreased immune system due to the stress of the move. The other possibility I suppose would be some sort of disease it had before I purchased it. Does anyone know how to identify this problem, and if so, how to treat it? I would hate to lose a frog. Thanks
