Breeding articles/info?

goini04 Jul 08, 2005 02:48 PM

Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone can point me towards some good Ball python breeding articles or info? I am normally a keeper of larger constrictors, however, there are not many responsible enough keepers for their proper care, and I would only be hurting our hobby by breeding them. Ball pythons make much more suitable captives so I thought I might try my hand at breeding them sometime soon. If anyone has any info, I would be very much appreciative.

Thanks,

Chris

The Barkers at VPI have a video that explains the breeding process. I have this one and its pretty good, although I have not yet attempted breeding. Mark Seward has a DVD that I hear is better. That may be your best bet.

Go to the top right of this page and click on Feeding and Breeding. That info is free.
