hi,

hybino means hypo albino. hybinos have less pattern than a regular albino, if i am not mistaken, lol - Mine are from Ray Hine in the UK www.rayhine.com/pictures.php

Hi Marlies,

I think she is a real cutie!!! she is gorgeous!

My Male Tangerine hybino is very bright with a few body patches
and as you can see from the photo my female is high yellow with a few body patches - i think they are great

Thank you again
Is you're tangerine hybino male as orange as mine?
It's always hard to make good picture's that show the good collor, but even on these you can she that she's quit orange! Like a litle carrot

I would verry much like to see a picture of your male!
(I'm verry fond of orange leo's!)

and it was developed by Ray Hine. There is an unbelieveable Tangerine Hybino on his site in his breeders page. With the breeding, I believe you'll get mostly high yellow-tangerine hybinos, with a few banded albinos, and carrottail albinos, and maybe a couple hybino carrottails.

I love the Tangerine Hybino on his site, but mine Tangerine has two body patches , but he is still a lurvely Leo

Yeah I have heard the term as well. I actually bought what was sold to me as hybino cornsnake at a show once. I think the term Hybino was adopted to refer to an albino animal showing reduced white patterning. In a albino where the melanin is lacking you usually only get a lack of color or white. So a Hybino would be a albino with less than normal amounts of white or non pigment coloring. They are actually pretty cool and we should be seeing some super hybinos pretty soon!

To your question:
If you breed two hybino's together you will get hybino's. But I don't know what wil happen with the tangerine en the HY...
