Block patches on skin ?

ConradCA Jul 08, 2005 10:42 PM

I have 2 veilds that have black patches on their tails. It looks like they are in a area that is shedding.

Is this a problem ?

Should I do any thing ?

Thanks for your advise.

Black patches are not normal. It usually means there is dead tissue in that spot, or possibly a fungal infection. We can't see them, so you should have a vet look at them. Unshed skin would not look black, and would easily rub off.
