Pacman acting strangely.

freddyl Jul 08, 2005 11:11 PM

My frog has suddenly started acting very different that it usually has. I've had it for about a year now and suddenly she has become very active. She hasn't made a hole for herself to sleep in in over a week and her coloring seems very light. She still seems to have moist skin, though. The crickets seem to be getting eaten still. Today she was laying on the ground with her hind legs kicked out behind her, something I've never seen before. She's still active and is moving around a lot and is still visiting her water dish regularly. She doesn't seem to have any of the diseases that I've seen listed anywhere. Is there anything wrong with her? Is she just shedding? I know I'm rambling, but we're getting concered.

Now she seem as though she can't use her hind legs properly. She kinda crawling and won't put her hind leg underneath her. It seems kinda red around her butt area.

Does this sound like Redleg?

CokeOfMan Jul 09, 2005 06:59 PM

Depends, redleg can cause redness underneath the frog, on the legs and I also think above the legs. But note that I have little knowledge of redleg, so I may be slightly off.
Are you describing redness around the cloaca/rectum(as if something is comming out of the frog)?
