Nazza,

I've seen lots of indigos and scores of hatchlings, and that is by far the reddest baby I've ever seen.

That is a sweet animal.
How are the rest of the eggs / babies coming along?

nazza Jul 11, 2005 09:52 AM

Hi Dean,
this morning the last 2 went out.
They all weight between 38-40gr, but 1 that weights 33gr.
They are 4.4
I'm waiting the shedding and HOPE they'll eat without problems
Best regards

Wow, Nazza, really great snakes with lots of red! Fabulous! Really great egg pictures, too. I love the crystaline formations on the close ups!

Once they slit, they are ready...although they will often take a day or two to emerge while they soak in yolk.

Resist the temptation to encourage them to come out...but making the slit larger so that they can find it is not a problem, and probably smart.

You're pics are blowing me away!
