Iguanasaurus Rex likes Star Trek. He seems to prefer TOS and TNG, is vaguely interested in DS9, and he ignores Voyager and Enterprise.
No, this is not a joke. I've been digitizing parts of my DVD collection, moving favorite episodes onto a central house server. When we play episodes, Rex comes to the front of his cage (which is next to my computers), and watches intently. Sometimes, if I stop an episode midway, he gets agitated until I start it up again.
He does not display the same interest in Wile E. Coyote cartoons or Babylon 5.
No, I'm not going to take my iguana to a trekkie con dressed in a little Starfleet uniform (though I have seen this inflicted on cats and dogs). Still, I wonder why he shows a strong preference for certain epsidoes and series, while disdaining others.
