what CANT you feed your beardies?

how can you tell how old your beardie is? and when can you tell its a male or female?

Well as far as foods not to feed your beardies, anything citrus, tomatoes, avacados, any people food, kale and spiniach in light use only, I myself dont feed them kale or spiniach anymore. Anyone else want to add to the list???

As far as telling how old your dragons are, well its really kinda hard. Every dragon grows at its own rate. So its hard to say by size. I have one female that is two years old and the size of a 6th month old dragon. And i have a 9 year old thats the size of a normal dragon. So if its an adult its hard to tell. If you got it when it was a baby then its probably between 4-8 weeks old.

You can sex your dragon at a very young age. Some people wait untill they are a couple months old though. You hold them faceing away from you and curl their tail upwards. You look at the base of the tail near the cloaca(vent) if it has two large lumps one on each side then its a male. If it looks like just one lump in the middle then most likley its a female. If you have a young dragon then the lumps wont be very big, but you should still be able to tell. Some times it helps to move the tail from side to side to see the lumps.More like twist it from side to side.

You should print it out and take it with you to the grocery store. It has the best information I have found anywhere. She really did a lot of research and the list will help you a lot, I know it helps me!
