fhuici Jul 09, 2005 11:36 AM

Just got a new camera and I was messing around. Took some pictures of one of my Suri's. Can't wait to learn how to use the camera..

I like the pics of the Suri on the grey background better than the white, less glare and showed the color better - at least on my screen.
What type of camera did you get?

Thanks. I think those came out better also. The camera has so many different settings that I'm still no where near learning them all. I did a lot of research (specially on dpreview.com) and for the money, and all the bells and whistles and the 0 cm macro, in my opinion, was the best camera.

I also looked at several Nikon Coolpix and Sony's H1.

camera's settings. I am a point and shoot person; though I do use macro, that's about it. I used to have a Sony Cybershot, but required more tinkering than I wanted. Then I got a Nikon Coolpix 775, it was easy to work, though doesn't have the same detail of some higher-end models. We lost that camera, so went up to the Nikon 4800, that again required more tinkering than I wanted. My pics turned out blue washed over half the time. It is supposed to be a good camera, but I was so happy when the old 775 was found.

I bet you haven't seen too many setups like this one! Well, I'm not quite done as you can see from the pictures. I still have to put in the cabinet drawers and then stain them. Anyway, that was the only way my girlfriend would let me keep them. She said they had to look nice. Hope you like.

Thanks

Damn, you got me beat by a mile. I wish I had more room for more visions. I want more animals but I'm completely out of room. That's a nice setup you lucky dog!!!
