I'm a Mom again....

I've opened my heart and home to a pair of gecko babies.

I got two tiger morph babies from a local Reptile Show. They are 6-8 weeks old and weigh .1 oz a piece. Length for both is 3 and a half inches. One is a brownish color while the other has a gray color to it.

No names yet.

I have them in a small Kritter Keeper at the moment with a plant, water, and paper towel as substrate. The brown one ate two crickets awhile ago while the gray just watched. The guy said he fed them crickets on Thursday and a little baby food on Friday, so I figured Gray just wasn't hungry.

The Gray licked Brown on the head and then they parted. I'm hoping this will mean they get along.

you know what, so often on here i see people picking up new cresteds at reptile shows and whatnot, and they seem to always be growing in popularity. but that leads me to wonder why theres only been once or twice that ive actually seen more than 2 vendors selling crested gex in decent numbers. theres always a few with maybe 4 or 5 in their booths. i think im gonna try my luck at vending and get my own booth here soon. it would pretty cool to dominate the crested market around here, although i know theres some forum members around here that dont live too far away.

To be honest, at the Reptile Show I went too, I went looking specifically for cresteds and only 3 booths had them.

On vendor had one crested, another had only 2, it was the 3rd crested vendor that had the wide variety of morphs and ages.

I was really surprised that there were hardly any cresteds. At this show there were more snakes, bearded dragons, and leopard geckos, than anything else.
