Today was the first day that Adoni (4 mo's old) spent alot of time outside. Being a curious beardie he preceded to eat sand, dirt, and attempted to eat mulch. We dint't let him consume too mcuh of anything but was curious if this is just a youngster trying new things or just a weird beardie. We are still using reptile carpet in his tank and have been thinking about converting over to play sand but not after today. Any similar experiences. Thanks.

Yea, mine will 'taste' things outside because that's how they smell, like a snakes's tongue. Mine have eaten bees, clover, and raspberries.
