How about a location, i.e., state or country??? It looks to be a racer or coachwhip, but would need a location to make a decent id.

Thats either a southern black racer or a everglades defintly not a eastern coachwhip i can tell you that much... one of the two..

Slight chance it could be paludicola. In the southern, the iris of the eye is a dark reddish orange. In the Everglades, it is a paler orange or yellow.
