around 1 am. it doesnt look like mom as the 4 others did, actually looks a lot like dad.light brown/grey looks like a he too. now just waiting for the next one.

well, the success is once again followed by a tad of not-so-good news. my female sikorae ive had since january suddenly dropped her tail last night, didnt find out till now. very strange, although maybe it has something to do with me moving her to a new enclosure (18x18x24 new exo terra tank). she's in tip top shape, so im not that worried about it. just wondering why i went 2 years with no autotomies, now i've gotten 2 in a month. as long as they're surviving, im alright with it, i guess.
but as for the satanic count, i had 3 from last year, 5 from this year so far. 3 eggs as yet to hatch, and ive gotta make a thorough rundown of the tanks because i got 2 or 3 clutches of inferts right before and while i was on my trip. means ive got another female or two that might start laying soon. and i dont think its very fair that everyone gets these female pietschmanni dropping eggs now. i want one. hopefully my newer male does the trick...eventually. good job jason. you know ill be happy to take her off your hands, cuz you know your collection is overflowing.

satanics and i guess ebenaui dont regenerate, but i think all the rest of them do. i would image malama might not regenerate either, but who knows about them?

cracked open the other egg from the clutch. it was just filled with goo. kinda glad to get it off my mind, but now im really hoping that the 2 eggs due next dont turn out that way. even if they do, i still cant complain. thats 5 satanics ive hatched out since feb, 2 henkeli, and something like 13 cresteds. woo!
