I some unintentional 'field herping' of my own this morning:
I hit the alarm off at 6AM, groggily grabbed a towel, and headed for the shower. Completely naked and without my much needed AM coffee, I turned around and there was this rather large, seasoned-looking Alligator lizard staring at me. We both looked at each other like "What on earth are YOU doing in here?!" Luckily the bathroom has a door to outside so I heaved open the door and popped the little guy outside...all while desperately trying not to flash the neighbors!
