orange, but some of my hatchlings (right now) do not. As the days go on it changes, They orange fades as they get older

Some Juveys can get orange up till they are a year old, off and on. Protection from older males.

These guys have alot of yellow, different patterns, some have orange , some not, kinda different looking.

You said you have all girls?

Skinks are not as foregiving as collared lizards. I put my skink in the corner of a cool tank for a while while I had the outlets turned off in the basement. You know I do this regularly with my male collareds. Keep one cool for 2 weeks at a time while letting the other stay outside in the pen. They never lose much weight, and they are always eager to headbob. If you are a busy body like me, I don't have to worry about feeding them and keeping the cage clean inside since there is no light or heat...no outlets either, so this is perfect for a while.

Skinks don't like to go very long without the humidity...My poor little GPS nearly drank a cup of water the other day. His tail look like kinkys. After one day in moist sand with a water dish, he has regained his vigor.

Sony has not laid yet...She has got to be close as she is bulging on the sides...my kids even tell me they can see her eggs LOL.

Wait and see I guess.

never misses a day! She will even lift her head high and look at me like a small pup would look up for something. She lets me know when she wants water/ food.

I usually fill everybodies water after the lights go on in the morning. Skinks seem to have quite an appetite also!

Glad you little skink is perking up!

Hope Sony gets those eggs layed and we see some yellers. MY yeller males were not in the MOOD this time around. Have to brumate longer this year for some yellers.
