Update - alterna #6

rpelaez Jul 10, 2005 03:17 PM

The gravid female from E. Sanderson laid 7 big eggs. All look good. I guess now I'm going to have to breakdown and buy an Arizona hunting license to noose more utas and urosaurus for the deep freeze. Damn it!!! Well, at least it gets me out of the house...

To recap all my wc alterna taken from the Trans-Pecos as an individual or as part of a group:

Before June 2005
0.1 five miles east of Sanderson
0.1 six-seven miles (?) southeast of Sanderson
1.0 ten miles east of Sanderson
1.0 eight-eleven miles north of Dryden

After June 2005
1.2 five miles east of Sanderson (all light)
0.1 six-seven miles (?) southeast of Sanderson
2.2 plus 7 eggs - ten miles east of Sanderson
3.1 plus 6 eggs - eight-eleven miles north of Dryden

Like I said in a previous email, it's goodbye Terrell County and hello Jeff Davis and Brewster counties

Notice the goose egg next to the female from the canyon before and after this trip? I didn't get down there this time because of all the fun I was having topside. That means there's still plenty of 'em down there!
