I think I do remember hearing about those along time ago...was it not the same guy who seems to flood the market with low quality morphs at very low prices?? I do not want to name any names...I would guess everyone knows who it is.
I did not realize how many people think they have Jungles that have not purchased from the sweedish line. I would say everyone should re-read Celia's posts, as she really hit the nail on the head. Seems if you have a Jungle proove them out. Either way you win if the traits are genetic.
By the way...I just paid Brendan for my very own male HARLEQUIN!!!! YES!!! I NOW OWN A HARLEQUIN!!!!! I am Extatic!!!

Though I seem to remember the prices as rather high, but then I always tend to have an hole in my pocket, so everything seems higher priced.
I also remember all capital letters??? I think??

.....she has colored up just a bit. I have her sister as well. The sister started out with much less color but is gaining everyday.

Good to see that some of the closet American Jungle keepers aren't afraid to show their stuff. Dogging these boas is really getting old. Good man Gray.

I agree, defenitly the reddest boas ive seen. I think its lame that one would try and ride the coat-tails of another morph by using a similiar name but... one cannot deny how insane that boa is!
I think that Gray did a great thing by not labeling the animal as a jungle but a normal. I hope that boa does prove out to be something spectacular.
people fall on the other end of the spectrum and will tag on labels to just about anything.
If the snake listed on his site as "normals" don't have another label, there are many people who need to wait in line to name their line. Those are some killer Columbians. Great looking animals Gray.

made a bad comment about those animals. Gray's animal has serious color. I only thought they were misrepresented in the classifieds. They are great looking snakes.

That the person that sold it to ya couldn't put their ego in their back pocket long enough to see what everyone was trying to tell them,(I think everyone involved in the debate complimented him on the animal numerous times!) the credit for that incredible animal goes to the person who produced it,and, whenever someone decides to market something under what they think is the "morph de jour",(instead of what it really is.)it does no justice to any of our efforts! If "screamer" ever makes it into the dictionary,it should be right alongside a picture of that thing!!!
....although I do classify her as a "normal" genetically, I really do think that she is more rare as what she is rather than a true Jungle. I wish everyone could hold this animal in normal lighting. She would change your perspective about red pigmentation in boas. Based on the appearance of her mother and what I am seeing in her sister, I suspect the intensity of pigmentation to carry to the next generation. I never did get any info on Dad....and it wasn't due to a lack of effort. I originally thought that I would breed a normal male to her just to see if her "Jungle" pattern would show up in the babies. However, I will be breeding one of my Bianca x Tito Jungles (who should show incredible color on their own) to Ruby so that I will be ensured of getting "Ruby" Jungles. I don't expect to get any Supers but I do want to get Jungles with unsurpassed color intensity and contrast. Just thinking about it makes me want to go feed her 3 large rats.....just kidding.....those who know me know that I would never do it......I starve my boas.
