Hey Jonel, here is your '03 female thayeri #1...

mexicanamak Jul 10, 2005 07:21 PM

Promised you these, decided to take a break, run her out in the yard for a few quick shots in the sun and share them here so all could see. This is the '03 yellow #1 female you produced, and..... my sweetheart named her Cherrios... like the cereal ya know... geeeeeeze... the only snake here with a name... had to let one get a name just to make her happy. You know how girls are about naming things! lol!

Cherrios is a terrific young lady, and a real sweetheart to boot. She certainly has a lot of her yellow momma in her and what I have noticed about her the most is her extremely clean ground color. She has absolutely no speckling on her whatsoever and the same goes for her #3 milksnake phase sib sister.

Enjoy.....

Thanks for the pic Mike! That's the first pic that I've seen of one of the thayeri hatchlings I've sold in the past. She's really nice and clean and looks like she feeds really well like her momma too. She's looking beatiful these days and also has the same fading on the blotches like mom but in a more subtle degree. The name Cherrios fits her perfectly because of her clean yellow/beige background. I'm glad she and her sis' is in good and proud hands. Looks like she'll be ready to give yah babies next year so start to think of expanding your herp room. You know it's inevitable. Hehe. Take care.

...and yes, she is a dandy, both of them are. They were very big for their age when you shipped them here and neither of them has ever missed a meal. You certainly do a great job getting them started and they both have terrific temperments, no problems with them at all.

Milksnake phase #3 in this pic is in the very early stages of her shed phase, just beginning to darken. Her ground color is just as clean. Throw some nice orange on top of that and wowser! Offspring like that lava model you just hatched out! Nice thing about these two girls is, they have the orange from your milksnake male floatin' around in there just waiting to pop out and I have some mighty nice orange males to mix 'em up with someday soon! Can't wait!

Cherrios and her milksnake phase sib sister #3, just prior to meal time...
