I have an orange female crested gecko that I was thinking about selling. Then about 2 months back she laid her first clutch. There were 3 fertile eggs all together laid on the same night and I thought that maybe one of my other new females laid one egg and she laid two on the same night.
So I decided to separate her to see if she was laying 3 eggs or just one or two. Then about one month after the first three eggs were discovered she laid two eggs. So I thought maybe she just laid one or two eggs from the 3 eggs that I found together.
I have left her in a cage by herself as I had put another female crested in with my original group. Then last night I saw her in the egg-laying container. I checked this morning and she laid 3 fertile eggs last night!!
How cool is that!! A crested that lays 3 fertile eggs per month!! Maybe I will keep her.
Has anyone else had this happen??
Thanks Erik
