What do you guys think of her...She has a very unique look to her. The guy I got her from called her a "bloodytail" due to the connecting red color along the bottom of her tail.

She is a very nice looking Boa...never heard of bloody tails though. Andy
Thanks for lookin...
Looks like you've got a nice looking girl there! I've seen the side striping on the tails before. We actually produced some Anerys this year that had that. It was pretty neat looking on the Anerys because it was a purplish-gray color.
Anyways, looks like a keeper there!
Thanks for sharing,
Celia

I think "bloody tail" was only used as a descriptive term based on the tail, rather than a morph name. At least, that was the case when I owned her. I has a male that looked just like her, so when I found her, I has to have her. Bloody Tail was my reference name for the pair, whenever I was talking about that particular pair. By no way was I insinuating it was a new morph, only a descriptive term, as it looked like blood was dripping from the tail and pooling. And yes, that trait would look amazing in an anery too. I actually wish all my boas have that trait, as I love color. Unfortunately, they were the only pair I have ever owned that had that characteristic.
Here she is when I had her. I think she is retaining some pink coloration..I can vaguely see it in the pics above. How big is she now?

Did you get the male with her? I had always hoped they would get the chance to breed - I'd love to see what they would have done together. Since you didn't post pics of him, I'll have to assume you didn't get him too. I was forced to sell the pair at the time, but I sure wish I could have hung onto them. The male was my favorite due to his outrageous orange coloration.

These pics do the pair no justice, as I had to reduce their size so there would be less difficulty for dial up users. Full sized, they are much more colorful.

I didn't mean to show duplicate pics of the female. Here is the third one:

Thank You....I know that "bloodytail" was purely desciptive, NOT a new morph.Sorry if I confused anyone. She is soooo pink its crazy, it just sucks how much a flash washes out all the color. I did not get a chance to get the male...It was a trade and I chose the bigger of the two. The male was very orangy when I seen him last year in Ohmaha.
As for size she is about three feet long and about 2.5 lbs. She probably could be alot bigger but I haven't been rushing her.
Terry
Since I coined the phrase to describe the pair, I just didn't want anyone to think I was trying to sell a new morph or anything like that.
It would be nice if she proved out and passed that trait though..
I can't believe she outgrew the male...he was twice her size...so, the male was also for sale? I'll need to try to locate my old records to find out who bought him from me and see if they still have him. He was amazing.
I'm glad to know she is keeping her pink.
Have you been able to find another male with the same type of bloody tail markings? If you ever do, please let me know how the offspring turn out.
Enjoy her.
