RETF books

gbjk Jul 11, 2005 06:51 AM

I've just received "Red-Eyed TreeFrogs and other leaf frogs"
(Reptile keeper's guides)
Which was about the only decent book I could find about retfs.

Though it's good, it's also very short, and I'd like much more detail in most areas.

Does anyone have any suggestions.
Obvioulsy google and amazon aren't throwing anything constructive my way, so I'm looking for some personal experience of books, rather than just "Google for 'x'"

Thanks

Gareth

I like the "Care and Breeding of Popular Treefrogs" by Philipe de Vosjoli. I think they have an updated version. Check that one out.

Thanks!

Amazon wouldn't list it at first, but that was just a space in "tree frogs".
I'll get that one straight away.
There's another one in a "double pack" with it that might be worth considering:
"Frogs, Toads and Treefrogs: Everything About Selection, Care, Nutrition, Breeding and Behavior (Complete Pet Owner's Manuals) - Richard Bartlett" - ISBN 0812091566

Any other suggestions?

The new version of the Philippe De Vosjoli book you mentioned is just called "Popular Tree Frogs" - ISBN 1882770773

Received this recently, and found it to be very good indeed.
Better than the other two, by far.
