My Female California Kingsnake is in the early stage of pregnancy and she keeps on trying to get out of the vivarium. I thought she was hungry, so I tried to feed her, but that is not it.
When should I provide her with an egglaying box with sphagnum moss and perlite.
Is that the problem, she is searching for somewhere to lay her eggs ... even though she has not sloughed yet and there is plenty of time (several weeks) before she is ready to lay?
