I am seriously contemplating promoting another show in the Raleigh-Durham area of NC.
The show would be one day, annual event, and would cater to breeders of CAPTIVE-BRED reptiles and distributors of books and supplies. It will be held in at an upscale hotel venue that offers full service accommodations and a climate controlled showroom. As such, no venomous reptiles or live feeders (rodent or insects) will be allowed.
The region is currently being subjected to a professional market analysis after which the total number of vendors will be settled on. Advertising dollars (your table fees) will be directed towards attracting enthusiasts like you. My shows have never boasted outrageous attendance however they have always produced a very favorable ratio of interested buyers to vendors.
This show will be as much about putting our collective best foot forward is it is about making money. Instead of gimmicks you’ll see an event for serious herpers that helps support the long term interest of our animals hobby.
