I've set up my terrarium for RETF. A link to photos is at the bottom.
I've currently mounted a 50w overhead IR bulb, which comes on at night.
At the minimum I'm going to change this to be on a thermostat to stop overheating ... There's a 24/7 heat mat there providing heat as it is.

However I went for this bulb for night on the basis it wouldn't disturb them, and provide some heat. However I'm told that RETFs still see and react to a red light anyway.

I'm thinking that in the summer maybe I could or should use a blue moonlight bulb, at around 15w, which provides much less heat.

What do people think?

Thanks

Gareth
