I want to try keeping my corns in rubbermaid bins. Professional rack systems are expensive and too large for my current lifestyle. However, I was curious, does anyone know if UV will properly go through the plastic? And will heat tape be too hot and melt it?

so you don't have to worry about that. I don't know about the heat tape.
