Here are some pics of my panther. It is said to be an ambilobe x sambava. Can anybody say for sure what sex it might be. Thanks for all the help,

Jason-

From the two photos, your cross is a female. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the input but I'm still not convinced either way. Last night (while sleeping) my cham was a very light yellow/cream color and it's bars were a bright red ( not solid though).

Thanks for the reply but you'll have to forgive me I'm new here and I don't know what np. stands for. It's probably something simple and obvious but what can i say, I'm a little slow sometimes. Thanks

we use it if we answer in the title part and don't have a message going with it. The reason i think it's a female is the the base of the tail is thinner. The patterns on her sides look more like a female and my young females always display red bars at night while sleeping they usually have more red in their chin/gular areas from a young age than the males do. I am just going by my last clutch of 18 and the females all looked like your picture.

Got it (the np thing). Yeah, I think you're right about the sex of my panther. I've looked at countless pics of them and have come to the conclusion that it's a female. I think by this age I'd have seen signs of it being a male. Well thanks for all your help, I love this forum, it's a great help.
