Plica Lumaria (Black Tree Climber)

sunhouse Jul 11, 2005 08:17 PM

Has anyone ever seen this iguanid?
I have been trying to find pics to compare them to my Plica Plicas & Plica Umbras, but can't seeem to find a single pic or document that I can understand (Since I'm not a biologist or a doctor).
Anyone got any pics of Plica lumaria or Plica Panstictus?

Thanks,
G

the plica's and have looked them up on occasion, but have never seen that species.

I really like these little iguanids, I breed collareds , and some types of agama, (L. stellio stellio) and shield tail agama, and have looked for these plicas but never find any!

I inquired last year about the plica plica someone had listed on their site, but they said they did not have any available then.

Hope ya find some pics, If I run across any I will let ya know!

Thanks. I'll do the same. I just got through checking out your site. You're babies are beautiful!! I love collareds! They are so colorful & have so much personality. You've really got some great ones there.
Let me know if you ever have any extra yellow heads.!

Well I couldnt find any pics, but from what I read these differ from Plica plica in having a smaller adult size, being completely black with very few light spots, and different behavior, which I couldnt seem to find out what that behavior was. Not sure if that helped.
